EDITORIAL GUIDELINES
The health information on this website is written to help Tampa and Carrollwood families make informed decisions about their dental care. Every page is created under the direction of a licensed dentist, grounded in established clinical guidance, and reviewed for accuracy before it is published. This page explains how our content is produced, who is responsible for it, and the standards we hold it to.
OUR CONTENT STANDARDS
Clinical accuracy. Our dental content is created under the direction of Dr. Eric Boe, DMD, and reflects current, widely accepted clinical practice. We aim to describe procedures, conditions, and treatment options the way they are actually understood and delivered in general dentistry.
Authoritative sources. Where we describe conditions, procedures, or oral-health guidance, we draw on recognized authorities such as the American Dental Association, the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research, and the CDC’s oral health resources. We link to primary sources so you can read further.
Clarity over jargon. Dentistry involves technical language. We work to explain it in plain terms so patients understand what a procedure involves, why it may be recommended, and what to expect, without oversimplifying the clinical facts.
General information, not personal advice. The content on this site is educational and does not replace an in-person examination or a personalized treatment plan. Every mouth is different, and only a direct evaluation with Dr. Boe can determine what is right for you.
Ongoing review. Dentistry evolves. We revisit and update our content as guidance and best practices change, so the information you read reflects how care is delivered today.
